Jobs Today/Top Paying Entry Level Jobs

Students who graduate class of  2016 are all wondering the same thing, what entry level job can I apply for that is a top entry level job right out of high school or college.

If you have just graduated from high school or college or are re-entering the workforce after a hiatus, you have probably heard a lot of conflicting advice about seeking employment.  The truth is that there is no dream job that will take you from ramen noodles to champagne brunches overnight and that building a career takes time.  It is also true that any job is better than no job, so if you are offered a job, don’t turn it down just because it wasn’t your first choice or because it sounds like hard work.  That said, some entry level jobs, that is, jobs that do not require previous experience, offer better pay than others.  If you are new to the workforce, these are some areas of work that will make your first job a financially rewarding one.

These are just a few top paying  jobs that can be applied for at entry level.

Human Resources entry level jobs
The median salary for people working in human resources is about $39,000 for their first year of work.  Human resources professionals recruit new employees and are sometimes also in charge of other employee-related responsibilities, such as keeping track of payroll, benefits, and taxes.  If you work in a company’s human resources office, you may spend a lot of time reviewing the job applications of prospective employees of the company.  Your responsibilities might even include interviewing job candidates before the managers interview them.

Computer Programming entry level jobs

Computer programming is an intellectually satisfying field of employment for people who like computers and problem-solving.  If you are an introvert who prefers to work alone or who likes conversing with colleagues but who dreads interviewing and other situations where you are judged on your people skills, then computer programming might be right for you, because when you make a successful program, your skills speak for themselves.  Whether you have a college degree in computer programming or you are self-taught, your programming skills have many applications.

Pharmaceutical Sales entry level jobs

If you are fearless about public speaking, then being a pharmaceutical sales rep may be just the job for you.  You do not need a background in medicine or pharmacology; in fact, many pharmaceutical sales reps studied the humanities or even the performing arts as undergraduates.  You just need to have confidence and have a thick skin about rejection, like any other sales job.  You will also learn a lot about the human body and the scientific discoveries that have made previously life-threatening illnesses curable.

Job Interviewing, Dressing to Impress

The best attire to consider when getting yourself prepared for the interview.

So it’s a few days until the big interview, what are you going to wear?

You have been putting in applications for months now so the next thing that you have to think about is what to wear to make a mark in the employers’ memory, you have to dress to impress. Have you heard of the saying that first impressions count. Well, there are a few things that you must think about when considering your attire for the job interview.

The best attire for the right job interview

First you must think about what type of job you are applying for. Is it a casual job?, or a more form environment? This must be taken into consideration when you prepare your attire for the interview. You wouldn’t want to be over dressed and you definitely wouldn’t want to be under dressed. You would look like a sore thumb sticking out if you went to a job interview with a three piece suit on and the job is only going to consists of gardening or baby sitting, save that suit for that state job or that cooperate position. Think about, how you would normally dress on these types of jobs. Of course you should always wear something conservative. If you are a woman, you would definitely not want to go in to the interview showing too much skin, midriff or too much cleavage. It will be seen as very unprofessional. Men should make sure to wear a nice shirt and slacks, no jeans. If it’s a more laid back job, say you are a construction worker going for a construction interview, you might want to wear kakis or slack and a nice button up shirt. Do I have to tell you never to wear sneaker to an interview? I hope not, we are going for a job right, so I would hope that more awareness was taken. Dressing for an interview is important because you want to make a good impression on the people that you want to work for, so wearing sneakers sends a signal that you don’t care and you are not coming prepared. By presenting yourself as a professional and appearing as though you thought through your attire before you arrived to the interview you send positive non verbal signals.  Other than avoiding sneakers and slippers of any kind, we must also make sure that our attire is free of spots and wrinkles. Missing buttons would be a turn off as well and colors that are too loud would be a distraction. You will make a better first impression, and send the signal that you came prepared and ready to get the job if you come wrinkle free and dressed to impress and with the mindset that “yes, I got this”. Having this attitude when going for an interview will almost always help you secure the job of your dreams. These are just a few of many things to remember before you plan on choosing your interview attire.

Stinking at the interview

If you know that you are the type of person that has an issue with sweaty arm pits, body order and stinky breath, this must be taken care of the night before the interview. Maybe wearing some extra strength deodorant will help to shrink those sweat glands. Make sure to apply the clinical protection heavy. The interviewing process is going to be intense, so you can bet that those sweat glands are going to be working overtime under those pits. If you know that you do not do well under pressure, you better make sure to apply more pressure to those pits with that clinical protection deodorant,  in order to not walk out of the interview with sweaty pits, looking like a nerve wreck. This heavy sweating could also give off a bad BO (body order), so make sure to wash with some type of soap that is going to mask any odor for at least 12 to 24 hours. Odors don’t only go for the pits but it goes for the hair as well as. Make sure that your hair is not reeking of anything that was a the young people say today, ”about last night.” No one wants to smell cigarette smoke, alcohol or your intimacy you had with your partner last night. That would be very distracting and embarrassing to have to deal with an unbearable odor of that magnitude. With that being said, oral care is the most important hygiene that needs to be taken care of before entering the interview. Your breath is going to fill the room, you are going to be talking about your past work experience and other things that pertain to the job that you are applying for, so fresh breath would be a good idea to have because you are going to be getting up close and person with the employer.  While it may seem like all these are small things to consider, you would be surprised how many people do not make sure that these hygienics are taken care of daily. When both men and women, take care of their personal hygiene, it shows that the small details matter to you . This will show your interviewer that you not only think about yourself and how you appear, but you also take into consideration the feelings of others and when it comes to work you can notice the small details that could affect your work environment.

Following just a few simple tips can attribute to the final decision the employer makes regarding if you meet the qualifications. Your boss will be looking at all of the small details, so you should make sure that you double check all aspects of your outfit before you go into the interview. You can only make one first impression, and you have to make sure that you make it a good one. Dressing to impress is not difficult, but it definitely is an important thing to do.

Just A FIller

One day while searching for a job (because like many others I was out of work),I came across and Ad to work from home. I have always had the desire to work from home so that I could be with my children, and I have always had a slight problem with bosses. I've always wanted to be my own boss and this Ad gave me the opportunity I needed to make that dream happen. I felt as though the ad was saying that they had a lot to offer me to work from home with them, but a lot of the work at home opportunities are really to good to be true and so I thought that this was just another sugar coated offer. Due to the fact that I like many others have been scammed into other at home work opportunities I knew that I did not want to get trapped into another scam that was going to take my money.

So I knew what I had to do, I had to do my research. I wanted this to be the last stop to trying to find a real at home business. I took all the resources that I have available to me and I started a small investigation on what I was hoping was going to be my final opportunity. I searched on all the websites that were provided. I called people to verify that they were really affiliated with the company. I even went so far as to listening to testimonials on YouTube to see what would be said bad about the company, and to my surprise nothing bad was mentioned. Even if it was, I was sold at the fact that they had a A+ rating with the BBB and that sat well with me, enough to make me want to sign on the dotted line right then and there.

So, I answered the Ad and I became an  IBO with the hopes and dreams of having a successful at home business. I am very happy that I did because everything that they say that they offer they do and everything that they day that they do they did.  I can actual do my job from home and have a great financial outcome. While being on the new business adventure, I have learned that having your own business takes time in order for it to succeed. You have to work on it every day. “Your success depends on your effort and how hard you work to make your business work for you. After a lot of trial and error I finally figured out a way to make my business work which can be duplicated step by step. I lay out the steps to your successful at home business. If you follow these steps you are guaranteed to be a success.
